Can't Throw Nyrulna
So I'm Playing as a warlock and used pact weapon to use this bad boy of a trident and well.... I couldn't even throw it... thought it was my strength because Karlach can throw it just fine. So I respec and put 10 in strength to at least get no Negatives... well now that doesn't work either. Even said screw it and let me use a potion to get my strength up to 21..... you all know the potion... anyways still couldn't throw the trident. Would love to use this with my tank warlock but... it's not looking good. So in a last ditch effort, someone please help me find out what I'm doing wrong, and/or if it's just a glitch!

Thank you in advance.

Testing it today, you just cant throw it if its a pact weapon it seems. I tried myself and as soon as I made something else my pact weapon I could happily throw it.

I agree... Wish it wasn't the pact weapon holding it back from it potential for the melee warlocks. I want to be able to do damage as well as spell cast with my Devil Pact. Guess it just wasn't meant to be. Unless they change that in the Full Patch they're working on.

i had the same problem and made some tests. i caouldnt throw it or let it fall out of my inventory.

After cheateing another nyrulna into the game i found out that this one was fully functional. i think that after a trow the game glitched out didnt know wherer it is in the inventory or not.

The only solution for this bug right now is sadly to cheat another on into the game:/

If you equip a different weapon you can throw it
Ok in planning a patch 8 hexblade build I tested this today. What you want to do is have something else (like Caitiff Staff for example) in main hand as pact weapon then Nyrula off hand. Nyrula is not a light or finesse weapon though so the only way to make this work is with dual weapon fighting style from a Fighter level 1 or Ranger level 2 multi-class build or the gloves of the balanced hands plus the Dual Wield feat. So you have to give up at least one feat selection to get there but once you do you can throw Nyrula from off hand and it will return to your off hand!
