Lae'Zel tries to kill me in camp... except not

I came back from adventuring and prepared for a long rest. Clicked the bed and it passed to night. I went to talk with my companions when a cut scene started. (Spoilers) My character was wincing over in pain. Lae'Zel came up from behind with a blade saying we were transforming and that she planned to kill the party. I failed my persuasion and my options were to die or attack. I chose attack.

My character pushes Lae'Zel off of himself and the cut scene suddenly ends. I expect a fight to start. Instead, I'm back in the middle of the camp. Lae'Zel's campsite has disappeared but she hasn't. She takes a few steps forward from where the bed was then stops. I also notice she's back to level 1 with her base 12 hit points (we're level 4 by this point and she's definitely been in the party to level before).

Talking with her just gives a dialogue option about her sleeping with Wyll from the party I hadn't chosen before, and an option to join my party (the first option goes away after choosing it, she responds to it normally). If I make room in the group for her and invite her, she'll say she's joining but never actually join. I can invite anyone else without any issue.

For right now I just have a level 1 Lae'Zel bumming in my camp. Very odd.

I had the same exact issue - I think it might be due to her not being in your party when the long rest triggers? I've heard of a similar issue occuring and complications arising when characters in these long rest cutscenes aren't in your party. I haven't tested it in this context though, really hope they hotfix this soon.

She's been in my party from the start and I just had this happen. Strangely enough immediately after, I had a cutscene where my guardian visits my dream. Is Lae'Zel's threat real, or just that? I've taken a few long rests and am afraid to take another right now.

I also have this bugged behavior. I do not have Laezel in my party but she is in my camp. She attacked, so I chose attack right back at her, the cut-scene stopped and Laezel has normal dialouge options, like nothing ever happened... Strange... I wanted to kill her off as I did that annoying Asterion...

The same thing happened to me, I've spent several days looking for a solution but I haven't found anything, I can only tell you that when you get to act two, Lae'zel will disappear forever, so either you wait for Larian to fix the bug ( who knows when they will fix it) or consider her dead.

Everyone of my compagnions doesn't react narrativly with the death of Lae'Zel. Nobody care of the mutinery of her. I doesn't understand the game sometimes and it's really frustrating !

I just had this trigger after she came onto me. At first I thought her putting a knife to my character's throat was some "mortal peril" kink or something (she was going on about sweat and stuff before after all).

But then the fight turned into an all out brawl, with the rest of my active party (me, Gale and Shadowheart) vs the other companions vs Lae'Zel, with Karlach being the last woman standing.

I'm not sure it was supposed to happen, but it sure was... interesting. Didn't even realise it was a real fight until half the party was dead.

Just happened to me and I thought it was some kink too. She killed me and the party ended. Lost a bit of progress but I was laughing to death.

I quit playing over a similar issue. Except, my only recourse is to attack and kill her or let her kill me. If I choose any other option, the scene stops responding. Rather annoying.
