I WANT TO SKIP THIS LAUNCHER PLS HEEELP

When I run dix11 from the bin folder, the game decided that I was launching the launcher

Did they really just disable the ability to skip the launcher now?

Set admin to bg3.exe, bg3_dx11.exe, and LariLauncher.exe, then make a shortcut for the dx11 one preferably, click it and done your playing w/o launcher

No. Threadstarter is just an... they are unclear with what they want.

The game doesn't run after update 2 -- it's always run fine by directly running the bg3_dx11.exe executable (set to run as admin).

I noticed that after it fails, I also get a message saying that LariLauncher also failed (!?)

That also dies if I just try running the launcher (which I've only seen once when running directly from steam) -- I note the launcher is also set to run a admin

The only way I've found to skip the launcher is to turn steam completely off and run the exe, but that's not ideal with multiplayer.
