Can't talk to Dhourn after i killed the spectater

I did a short rest because i figured that he would start to attack me afterwards, but now he is stuck meditating.

It might be because i used command and made him drop his weapon.

I'm sure you've probably long since moved on from this, but I want to leave this here for future reference. The same thing happen to me, not sure what I did to cause it, but I haven't used any commands or anything like that.

I solved it by using an invisibility spell on Astarion and pickpocketing something from him, afterword he acted normal and I was able to talk to him. Hope this ends up helping someone!

Same thing happened to me, I cast Fear on him and he dropped his dagger and whenever I interacted with him, he just said "Not now" or "Later"

I tried Jesse's pickpocketing solution but it didn't work - might've something to do with the new patch. Long resting just makes him leave the area. Tried fast travel too and nothing happened.

Luckily I had a quicksave stored before this.
