[BUG] Underdark, Elevator to Moonrise Towers (NE corner)

We're referring to the elevator in North East corner of the underdark, which leads to the Moonrise Tower.

Not the Arcana Tower.

After completing all quests in Underdark and Grimforge, returning to the elevator which is supposed to lead you to the Moonrise Tower do not work as intended; interracting with it will have PC claim "Doesn't work" and the UI showing "Can't use this right now"

Anyone aware of this being a known issue?
Anyone actually found a workaround, other than going through Mountain Pass instead of Underdark to progress in the campaign?

Are you certain you're at the right elevator? I've seen an elevator that displays the message "Doesn't work" It's the one where the two dwarfs are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on stickpit or whatever the gnome's name is that functions as a TP to moonrise. Just wondering and ignore me if you really are at the right place. Normally there isn't a limit to the elevator. You should be able to skip grymforge completely if you want to by going into the elevator immediatly.

I have no clue where you are referencing, but yes. In EA it used to work (well, succesfully telling you that it was out of reach for Early Access). Again, North East corner of the Underdark, I think that's clear enough there are not 20 elevators AFAIK in that corner.
