Sword of life stealing is not working
You can buy this sword from Dammon in act 2.

It says:
"Life Stealing Critical: On a Critical Hit, the target takes an extra 1 ~ 10 Necrotic damage as long as it isn't a construct or an undead. You also gain 10 temporary hit points."

I tested it with different characters on different targets, and it didn't work.
This weapon could be very powerful if devs'll fix it.

This bug of only working against undead/constructs is funny coz it makes it extra useful in act 2 as opposed to being less useful

The sword works fine, but it only applies bonus HP when you're below the maximum. It isn't very good for that reason.
Im thinking the same thing I used it on ranged though with the crit dagger in the other hand and rolled a 19 (crit). It doesnt mention on the sword with "this weapon" so it should work with ranged as well
