Monitors turn off with "no signal" notification during certain cutscenes (PC power button reset required)
When the game's full release launched, I played on the Vulkan API. I played for a few hours and at one point, during a cutscene/dialogue (can't remember which one), my monitors went black with no signal, but my sound was still on. I had to shut down my PC with the power button as nothing else worked. I shrugged it off at first and tried again. The next time it happened in a different cutscene/dialogue. I looked online for solutions and found out that it could be that my GPU overheats or looses power. So I launched the game in DX11 and set video options to medium/low and the game was running at a steady 50 fps. I had no problems until a certain cutscene that crashed my GPU 3 times in a row on the same spot/frame. That cutscene was: In the goblin camp when nearing a cave after passing three goblins that sit around a table, the party gets headaches and fall to the ground, a vision appears with 3 figures standing in darkness, the narrator describes them all and the crash occurs. After that, I cleaned my PC from dust, especially the GPU fans. I was also looking at heat, power consumption and fan rpm gauges on my second monitor, the heat was around 65 to 70 degrees celsius in the open world and would jump to around 76 in cutscenes/dialogues. The power consumption was around 40%. The fan rpm was around 2500 to 2800 rpm. I could not measure the gauges during the crash but my fans started rapidly excelarating and they were extremely loud. I tried playing other games, as i didn't have problems like that in any other game. I played through The Last of Us (after the latest patches) without problems or crashes, I play TW Warhammer 3 for hours without problems, Deep Rock Galactic runs at around 78 celsius and 3400 rpm and a have no problems with that game. I decided not to play Baldurs Gate 3 until i find a solution. I don't know if I should wait for a hotfix/patch or upgrade my hardware.

Baldurs Gate 3 version: V 4.1.1.3624901

My PC specs:
CPU: Intel i7-9700K 3.60 GHz
GPU: Radeon RX 590, 8192 MB VRAM
RAM: 16 GB
Power supply: 650 W
Main monitor: 1920x1080, 144 Hz

Thank you for your time.

If you're currently, like myself, not in a position to upgrade your PC with better hardware (most notably a stronger power supply), try unplugging any unnecessary peripherals from your PC, so they don't consume power (if you have multiple monitors, leave only your main one plugged in). Also try playing the game on a different aspect ratio or in windowed mode (you can resize the window for your liking). You can experiment with graphics settings ingame as I'm playing like this with high details/textures/animation. These steps seemed to have helped, and I've had no game/GPU crashes ever since. Hope it helps. Cheers.

Alright! I switched to Vulkan which caused a crash and reloaded my shaders. After I switched back to D11, I haven't had any more crashes. If it starts up again I'll give it a shot, thanks for the reply!
