Can't see any of the options other than "1. continue" which takes all choice away from me.
Had to get into the habit of quicksaving before every single conversation now.
Anytime you see that just save and reload and it will fix it
Not working for me. Bummer.
Really? You quick saved (F5) and reloaded (F8)? Strange it worked every time for me.
Yep. Very slight spoiler for the tail-end of Act I/beginning of Act II I guess, but specifically, the one that just refused to work was during the Dream Visitor conversation in the Githyanki Creche. As my character approached, the "1. Continue..." option popped up, the voice line the DV was speaking ended, and halfway through a step my character froze in place but the game itself very clearly was not frozen. Hitting Continue allowed me to, well, continue the conversation, but I have no idea what the dialogue choice hiding behind the Continue prompt was.
But yes do try to save before and after every dialogue and quests or big fights. Save all the time and describe where you are or what you're doing when naming the save file. It helps walk around game breaking bugs that might be roaming about. A game with so much race, class and skill specific choices is bound to be very buggy.
Let's hope they dedicate the months to bugfix even if the bigger bulk of players will stop playing in the following weeks. People are in such hurry to finish games theses days it's almost like it's a full time job or a chore to be completed ASAP. Considering the prices of games, I take my sweet time and check everything out.
I'm running the game on a WD Black SN850X NVMe. I'm fairly confident the issue has nothing to do with drive speed.
I actually don't think this is a bug, I think it is just supposed to be "Continue" as I re-read the dialogue as there was no missing dialogue option I picked when I continued. So I think you are safe to proceed.
