Option to send Custom Characters to camp

As title says. Can we have an option to send coop custom characters to camp please.
It doesn't make sense to have them as permanent party members when friends are not online.

In order to work around this, I now have 3 different campaigns. It's annoying to do all the quests again just because I want to actually use the origin party members.
It takes away from the game and will lead to early burnout before I finish it, since I'll have to repeat the same things too many times.

not to be a ♥♥♥♥ but why do you insist on continuing a campaign with out your friends? isn't that kinda rude? your friends invested this time to play with you and youre going to progress the story with out them?

roll a single player campaign and keep it locked to solo, there problem solved lol

No it's not rude. My friend might start up a campaign of his own because he wanted to play when I could not.

Your solution is not helpful.
I've made a few new games now and it sucks to make a new game every time someone (who has ALSO played the game quite a bit) just wants to join.

It should be a simple fix. I'm not asking custom characters to be deleted. Just store them in camp.

There is no technical limitation to do this.

Yeap, its kind of bug, not a feature. I need to restars the game ONLY because someone joined me and quit in a moment? Awfull.

Yeah 100%. I'm tired of guys suggesting "just restart your campaign".. like no, I already invested 20 hours and now it's ruined.

Yeap, same problem here, someone joined me at the first hour of game launch, didn´t really noticed anything cuz he left just after joining, so now im something like 15 hrs of play i wanted to take out a NPC and i noticed it doesn´t have any dialogue option to send it to the camp..

So now im thinkin about what to do.. maybe im not playing more until they fixt this cuz i dont want to f****g do the quest, talks, dice rolls again.

Already made a bug issue at Larian's website, do the same, pls:) We'll be heard, i think

I hate creating additional accounts but I have submitted a bug report now because I love this game so much.

Yeah same here, i kind like this game so much, there were a few years without feeling like im again 15 yearls old :D

Indeed, I don't understand people defending this bug. I love the game too and I'm a fanboy, but this is rabbid fanboyism
