Entering the town that holds back darkness, I was stopped, broke free of the vines, and used the advantage to convince Jaheira to give me the benefit of the doubt. Later, I'm talking to her in the inn, discover the truth poison, pass the check, and she tells me to "use the artifact" to basically go undercover as a True Soul. Problem is... She shouldn't know I HAVE the artifact, because I avoided telling her. That's Shadowheart's secret to share, not mine.

Same thing happened to me, though another NPC vouched for me instead of me breaking free. I've spoken to no one outside the companions about the artifact, so this shouldn't be known unless there's a mole.

same here. i avoided telling her also. BIG oversite. big surprise also cause they are normally very attuned to players doing a wide variety of ways to handle situations. even giving them the choice to not revel it.

Yeah, I figure it'll be patched fairly quickly once they notice, since it's past what could be tested, nobody caught it early enough. Ima just pretend she didn't jar me out of RP like that.

Happened to me as well. I immediately googled the issue and this discussion was the first result. Hopefully it gets fixed. It took me out of RP quickly. Like WTF. I didn't snitch on my girl.

Yea this happened to me too, this is the first time i notice an inconsistency in the game however, but its a big one so hopefully this is fixed
