Ring of Flinging + Tavern Brawler. Weird DMG Calc.

Basically i am playing around with throwing Stuff and reached Lvl 4 as my Barbarian.
Using the Ring of Flinging and Tavern BRawler seems to deal waaay too much dmg so i looked at the Logs and found out this.

With Ring and Tavern Brawler Feat.

I throw a Javelin.
Base --> 1d6 + STR Modi + Throwing Bosot (Ring).
Tavern Brawler --> STR Modi.
AND AGAIN Tavern Brawler --> 1d4 Bludgeoning DMG from Throwing Boost (Ring).

Without the Ring:
Base --> 1d6 + STR Modi
ONE TIME Tavern Brawler --> STR Modi
