Digital Deluxe Premium Content Missing

Hi, digital deluxe DLC items are missing, soundtrack is not in steam etc. Someone else purchased this game for me as a gift, maybe that is causing a bug? Steam says they cannot do anything because it's a Larian issue, please help.

If its not in your travelers chest (where all the food is)...

Go to your Library, unselect the DLC, Steam will update the game for a few seconds, than again tick the box to install it (this could take a while, 3GB). Then launch the game with steam, ignore the Larion Launcher, if it says "data error" and go into the game and camp and look in your travelers stash. The items should be there.

what if only select content from it is missing? only the outfit was in my chest, no cape hat lute ect

Was there a backpack and chest of odd clothing choices?

my issue is that I had the helm, equipped even, and now it's missing, clothes too. I only see drake dye in the chest.
