No sound at all

After the Larian intro screen all my sounds is gone, i have tried uninstalling and installing all drivers, turned on and off spatial audion, i have triple checked the input/outputs, turned off everything that can interfere with the game, launched frome the .exe as admin and the list goes on, nothing is working. can anyone help me PLEEEASE?!

I just found something that worked for me that you can try, Its just a Band-aid solution thou.
If you have more than one audio sources (like a headset and speakers for example).

1- Make sure that the audio source that you DONT want to use to play the game is set as default in windows.
2- Open the game up to the main menu.
3- Alt-tab and go to windows settings -> System -> Sound -> Advanced Sound Options (app volume and device preference)
4- You should see BG3 there, change its output to the other Audio Source.
5- Tab back into the game and you should have sound.

Hope that this works for you too.

i have the same error i'm gonna try what blueclown says and hope it works for me, i have a problem on the launcher too and when i cloose the game it validate files all the time

What sound card do you have by chance? Mines a Realtek on a x670E Aorus

Im wondering if there is anything in common with those of us who cannot get the sound to functtion

If someone is still experiencing this issue, you could try changing the sound quality of your output device.
Windows settings > Sound > Device properties > Additional device properties > Advanced
Select one of the 16bit options under Default Format drop down selection
