Can't talk to Mol

I rescued the kid at the beach, I am supposed to talk to Mol, but I can't talk to her. Not only does she not have any dialogue options in that regard, I can't even begin a conversation -_-

I had this bug happen to me today as well. The workarounds by themselves didn't work. Stealth and talk to her, shove her then talk, shove her and save, then load and talk. None of those worked. What worked was eventually I got frustrated and kept spamming C next to her to stealth and eventually the cursor over her head turned to the chat box and I was able to finish the quest.

I initially went to talk to Mol and was given the countdown so I left. 2.5 hours later I saved a kid at the beach and when I went to talk to Mol, she runs and then guards attack me. Fix this. It is game breaking and I am not going back 2.5 hours.

so this happened to me and i decided to go on regardless. im now deep into act 2 and Mol reappaers with rapheal at the last light inn...... still cannot interact with her (or raphael) now so this bug going forward continues to break the game like 20 hours later. if you have this bug i really do suggest going back to your last save point instead of continueing

Found a fix:
Had the same issue, but fixed it by missing when attacking Mol (hitting didn't work as she just ran away). Once I missed the attack the speak icon appeared and I was able to talk to her. Got -20 opinion, but still worth :).

Also having this problem after the latest patch. I could talk to them before. I can't talk to Mirkon or Sikly or whatever the partner of the shopkeeper kid's name was. They just stand stock still and don't move, I tried throwing one of them, and they just stood back up and continued standing still despite the repositioning and damage.

Have you tried throwing Mol, then exit and reenter the cave? It worked for me.

I don’t know how to do any of these methods, she just run's away from me and even when I used invisibility potion, she still counts to zero and runs...

I'm not sure what happened, but I think patch updates have fixed this, I had 3 different reasons to talk to Mol and tried most of the above to no avail. Today I went and talked to her after an update and got through the 3 reasons to talk to her and "Talk to Mol" quest completed.

Just because I "scared" the Sikly, I can't befriend Mol. I was nice to Meli and Mirkon, but that didn't do anything. I "scared" Sifly (by Persuasion I just caught her and let her go) early in the game, so going back all the way for one kid when I was nice to the other two is BS... is there a way to fix this?

Here's what I did to fix the issue for me:
Activate Dash before entering, turn on Turn-Based Mode to pause the countdown, and dash again to reach right beside Mol. I used Shove, which failed, but it still worked. Then you can chat with Mol without any problem.

EDIT: The countdown continues and they all leave after turning off Turn-Based Mode. I have resorted to teleporting right away before it ends. I'll steal the Idol and then see what changes.

EDIT: I was unable to deliver the Idol because the countdown was too short, and I couldn't reach him a second time. Once the countdown is over, the quest will still complete, and you get to keep the Idol. Fast forward many hours: after the victory at the second goblin fight at the grove, you can find Mol nearby. You will have the option to give Mol the Idol, but you do not receive any rewards.
