I just read around that some people 1 year ago had the same bug related to the owlbear cub, thing is I killed both him and the mother so I have no idea of what is causing the bug, I tried to reload a previous save but as soon as I rest I get stuck at the camp unable to progress.
Basically there's no way I can leave the camp, I threw away 9 hours of gameplay.
"Someone in camp still wishes to speak to you."
None of the solutions in here work, once you're in the forced camp transition you're incapable of leaving again, simply have to reload. Like being stuck in a permanent Early Access release.
We just cleared the goblin camp and the outposts before and now it seems good.
One thing I noticed is that I rested just after saving the bard from the camp but outside the goblin camp in order to load the FOREST campsite.
Everybody (but the owlbear which I still saved and sent to my camp) spawned in it, meaning Volo and the dead guy that makes you respec and hire hirelings, forgot his name.
This time we manage to leave the camp and we could proceed normally, Idk if it's related to a location or to some characters that are missing in a certain scenario but so far so good, we avoided the issue.
I just got the same bug. I'm not rushing whatsoever, just apparently did things in the wrong order. The idea of going back several hours to maybe fix it is pretty bad.
I fix attacking her, then i can sleep and progressing on to the Mountain Pass
