Stuck in character creation

Eternally "waiting for other players" Despite restarts and swapping host we can not get the game to start after creating our characters in a 2 person party. Any tricks to fix this?

Getting this as well, no luck getting past creation. Obviously a devastating bug given it stops from playing the game entirely.

restarting a handful more times eventually got us through

Friend of mine just discovered that if their tiefling guardian's earring was removed, they could start their game. Was able to confirm this was true in single and multiplayer

I got it to work by switching from teifling guardian body 3 to 1.

It was the body type on my guardian that was preventing me from continuing. When I changed it it worked.
