No audio

Aside from the Larian Logo, there is no audio at all in this game on my Alienware Laptop. Anyone else having issues with sound?

i only hear the button hover and clicks. else no music and no sound in cinematics

I can't hear anything at all except the plunger sticking to the head on the Larian Logo intro. Early access the audio was fine. I've updated my NVIDIA drivers prior to the release. Now the audio doesn't work. I am trying to uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes it. If not, it's back to Diablo IV

I have the same issue. Tried switching audio devices too, no change.

also updated nvidia drivers today. tell us if it worked to downgrade

Im also having this issue and im currently reinstalling to see if the issue gets resolved.

Seems like there is a bug going on with the Audio - Larian Studios splash screen works but I get zero audio anywhere after that.

Same here only Larian Studio sound then complete silence.

My audio sounds like it's a 50 year old radio. Logo sounds like it should. I played EA extensively and had no audio issues whatsoever.

Now when I try to sit at main menu it's a constant buzzing when I listen to the OST.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Checked other games. Everything works fine. I go to play BG3, I hear the splash screen audiio and then nothing. Complete silence. I give up.

I think I fixed the sound for me. Try going into the your sound device properties or running a search for "Spatial Audio". I had mine with the "Windows Sonic for Headphones" enabled.

I turned it off and then loaded the game. Sound works perfectly now.

Multiple audio devices - none work - Larian Studios sound works - no audio after that.

Same here Serico. I have no other enhanced audio active. I just hear the splash audio and then it goes silent after the NVIDIA splash screen.

Exactly the issue here - and I haven't read where anyone has fixed this either. Not sure what is causing it but I cannot figure it out - I've disabled, enabled, forced mono audio etc just to figure out what is causing it and I cant seem to figure it out.

Its almost like the game is muting itself.

Exactly! I just tried forcing mono as well...no luck. If someone fixes this, I will be very grateful.

disabling all other audio devices like monitors and usb audio fixed the issue for me. only left audio device is my headset

I had no other audio devices connected. I tried a headset and got the same thing. I could hear the Larian splash audio and then after that...nothing. The title screen is silent, the character creation is all silent, and when I start the game, the opening cut scene is silent. Guess I'll wait for a patch.
