Audio Issues - Voices

Anyone else having issues with the Sound in the game making voices sound like they're whispering in an echo-y room and every other sound in the game just dwarfs the voice acting? It's really annoying.

I was JUST about to post this. Shadowheart and Laezel both sound like they audio is just insanely compressed or something.
Very quiet, and just bad quality sound compared to the rest of whats going on around me. Sucks the immersion right out.
The Narrators voice is perfectly fine though.
I swear it wasn't like that in the beta either, not sure what happened.

Weird, it's exactly the other way around for me. Spatial audio is off. Voices so far are fine, but narrator sounds as if the speakers are out of phase - extremely flat and very very silent, often next to impossible to understand :(

I got faith they'll fix it. Hopefully sooner rather than later, as audio issues pertaining to the *main characters of the game* is a bit of a huge problem. lol

Yeah, listened in a bit more and tbf the sound overall sounds extremely flat. Only that it was more noticeable for the narrator since she's talking over the ambient noise at times. Didn't have any sound issue yesterday in early access version =D

I think I fixed the sound for me. Try going into the your sound device properties or running a search for "Spatial Audio". I had mine with the "Windows Sonic for Headphones" enabled.

I turned it off and then loaded the game. Sound works perfectly now.

Same problem also with Windows Sonic disabled I have echo on voices and environment. I have a Soundblaster G5 as sound card.

I was having the same problem... dont know how you came by this Spatial Audio solution... but it totally worked!!

I am not sure what made the difference for me, but i solved it with either reinstalling the REALTEK audio console driver or start the game with VULKAN instead of directx11. I did both in a row so cant tell exactly what it was in the end. The other above mentioned apporaches didnt worked for me tho. Good luck!
