No character model on character creation

I was very excited to give this game a try but on character creation no model came up. I decided to just go for it and see if a model would appear in game. Still nothing.

After looking the issue up online I made sure that BG3 was ok with my antivirus. That was not the issue. At this point I have no idea what could be causing issues. Help would be welcome.

It is new game installation and you have never installed this before? I believe I have seen this kind of problems if old mods are in use from previous patches.

If you have played this with mods before then you might want to start fresh:
My method of full clean:
1. Locate your game folder with steam (or other means)
2. Uninstall
3. Delete your game folder
4. Delete C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
5. Delete (if exists) C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
6, Delete (if exists) C:\Users\<UserName>\OneDrive\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3 (Your OneDrive location can vary)

Note all local saves, mods and settings are lost.

I fixed it with a fully uninstall and reinstall. No idea why that worked
