I can't change my gender in character creation

I'm stuck on female in character creation. When I choose male it lights up but my character doesn't change.

just delete them will see, it worked deleting old mod and public folder worked

I did a fresh reinstall, no mods. Still having this same glitch.

Fresh steam install (or gog install) does not remove any mods. If you ever used any mods you need to manually take care of them youself.

This PC > Local Disk > Users > (your username) > AppData > Local > Larian Studios > Baldur's Gate 3 > Mods
Check this folder and delete all mods

I've never installed mods. But I'm having the same problem.

- No Mods in Mods, deleted directory.
- Followed the Larian troubleshooting guide. Deleted the old directory, did a clean reinstall.
- Problem persists.

Males are body type 2 and 4. Just choosing your gender doesn't change the body.

wow i wounder how many players, re-installed after thinking they had the gender bug, and all they had to do was change body type. i was one. not a good start :(
