Raphael Glitch at Camp

After Raphael's cat and mouse quote at your campsite for a long rest, he's supposed to whisk you away to some place private for a chat. Except, it glitches out now since the most recent patch. I've never had a problem with this scene before and it's making it to where my party can't long rest now

I just passed this section of the game a few days ago and while it didn't have any issues.. the odd thing is that it played twice for some reason.

That said, for OP.. Is this a fresh install of the game? or an installation that's had the patches applied over top? I re-installed once patch 7 and Hotfix 22 came out and the game's been pretty bug free.

I haven't tried re-installing the game-this was a new character/save that I made after the most recent patch and hotfix and thought there wouldn't be any problems since my stuff stays up-to-date, but I can try that

Update: I just re-installed the game and will come back here when I get to the Raphael point again. Could be a min because apparently different things trigger when he'll show up to begin with. I'm not sure what triggered it this time and it may be different on my new play through lol

I want to say it's triggered after your 2nd rest in Camp but I'm not 100% sure. Mine also bugged out in that I got him at Camp Rest #2 and #3

I had this happen recently also. Took a couple of reloads until I figured out that I could advance things by pressing the space bar.

I had this issue with my last run.

In my run, apparently, I needed to trigger the Raphael scene before I talked to priestess Gut.

This was hours of me going back trying to figure what I could from a game that was glitching.
When I loaded a game before I met Gut then rested it seemed to have "unglitched"

I'm back to the same scene on my new run with Raphael and having the exact same issue as I was before I re-installed the game-And this is before talking to Priestess Gut. It's on my 2nd long rest...I'm kind of at a loss here and not sure what to do. I've skipped forward in dialogue using space bar, but when it comes time for him to take us away from camp for a more "refined" setting, it glitches and I can't get past it

After a few times of re-loading and spamming the space bar, I was finally able to get through Raphael's scene!

Nice! Happy you're able to proceed! Thus far, the only cutscene I had to avoid was the Nautoloid crashing, though it worked fine on DX11 (but looked awful).

Nice! Writing down spam the space bar if I have problems with Raphael again.
