[BUG] Soft lock from dialogue with Meli (Tiefling Hideout)
Entered the Tiefling Hideout for the first time, went and spoke to Meli first. Got the "You're the first grown-up who's ever gotten in here. Not bad." line, and the the dialogue seemed to just end. Clicked on them for another dialogue, they didn't react. Tried clicking other NPCs, they didn't react. Realized my UI was the mid-dialogue UI (no map, no hotbar, no characters in bot left, etc.; just the 4 icons for menu/character select/trade/dialogue history) and that I couldn't use F1-F4 to select characters (among other things, such as C to Hide). I also, could not exit the area (in fact, I could not interact with any objects, including containers and loose items on the ground).

Used the dialogue UI's character select feature to select a character other than the one I entered the dialogue with. That gave me back my normal UI, but these characters still can't interact with any objects, the same as the pseudo-in-dialogue character, meaning I still couldn't leave the area.

Edit:
After reloading my previous save (which was inside the hideout, near where I had entered from, before interacting with anyone), I walked down to where the tiefling kids are congregated, walked around their little wooden wall to their stash, and triggered a cutscene with a different tiefling kid telling me to leave. No bugs at that point. Hid behind the barrier and stole these poor kids' only gold, got up, and went to talk to Meli. Dialogue exited fine. Spoke to her again and got a second dialogue I wasn't able to trigger before. Spoke again and got the same second dialogue fine. Seem to be no issues.

For science, I reloaded the save again, walked straight back into the pit where the NPCs are (no different) with the intent to immediately talk to Meli to see if I could reproduce the bug, but the threat dialogue triggered even earlier this time, right when I passed between the two columns while walking down (where the little flags are strewn between two wooden posts). No bugs, so let's try again, more closely recreating what I did the first time.

Reload, walk onto the cliff to my left (entered from by Doni or whatever the NPC's name is), hit Z to bring up jump targeting, right click to cancel it. Run down and to the right, to climb up to the other exit. Run back down and straight across the the crack overlooking the cliff (below the higher cliff I ran to when I first entered). Run into the area by Meli and initiative dialogue with her. This time, the threat dialogue did not trigger until AFTER I first spoke with Meli (which involved some awkward pathing, so the delay was noticeable), but no bugs were encountered afterward. What I'm guessing is that the threat dialogue was meant to be triggering in that first, bugged run but wouldn't for some reason. No idea if it was related to Meli's dialogue, the trigger for the threat dialogue, the NPC for the threat dialogue, or something else entirely. The only thing I do notice for certain is that the threat dialogue does not reliably trigger at any particular time, which gives a window for the PC to do all sorts of things after it COULD be triggered, and so maybe that's where the issue comes from.

Edit2:
After typing up my last edit, I came back to find the tiefling kids had apparently left. Reloaded once more and saw that Mol will actually count down after her dialogue, then they'll gather their things and leave. This did not occur on the first reload that I talked about (there was no countdown, and they never left, even as I looted, talked to them, jumped around, etc.).

I've encountered a similar problem in the goblin camp, with the female human in the back of the area where the "chicken chase" with the owlbear cub occurs. Initiating dialogue with her results in a soft lock with no dialogue occurring. Worse than before, I don't even seem able to switch to other characters during it.

Context for my game state, in case it matters:
Initially went through goblin camp without hostility. Slaughtered the goblin leaders in the temple, had the camp scene with the tieflings, went into the underdark some, fast traveled back to the goblin camp, killed the camp (now hostile), went looking around and saw these NPCs in the chicken chase area, tried talking to them.

Also maybe helpful is that the male NPC standing with her shouted some line about the drinks being poisoned and screamed "Traitor!" (at me?). I never poisoned the goblin drinks. Maybe if the goblin camp is dead, he just always assumes that's how it happened (bugged dialogue) or maybe there's some bugged state that's causing this and the issue with the female NPC beside him. Don't know.
