Gekh Coal/Thulla quest bugged

I met Thulla before I met Gekh. Shadowheart was the speaker and offered to put her out of her misery. After doing so, I couldn't loot the body. Then after receiving the quest from Gekh to retrieve the boots, it still wouldn't let me. I had to throw Thulla's body a bunch of times to get it to an area where nobody could see me loot the body. Once I returned to Gekh with the boots, there was no dialogue option to continue or complete the quest. It actually restarted each time as if I had never met him.

I go the boots from the gnome but every time I speak to Gekh it's as if I have never met him. This bug is 3 years old and apparently still not fixed for release?

i have this bug too, first playthrough. I met Thulla first and antidote saved her, accepted her quest and she gave me the boots. Shadowheart wasn't in my party though, I don't think it matters. Now every time I talk to Gehk it restarts his dialogue like we've never met as prev said ^^. Guess I'll be keeping the boots!
