Lips not moving during dialogues...

Are the lips supposed to not move during cut scenes sometimes? Lol I get that sometimes we are talking telepathically to our companions but it happens at times that i dont think it's supposed to be happening.

I had this almost the entirety of my game play yesterday. I had assumed that maybe they weren't done with some of the speech portions, but it doesn't seem consistent enough for that. I'm getting the lips moving in only about 20% of conversations. The other animations work, body movements, even facial movements, just not the lips. A couple times, when they did move, they were out of sync with what was being said. Not in a "we couldn't get it perfect" type of way, but it looked like they were saying what was being said, but the sound was not in sync with the lip movement.

For me it usually happens on character introductions. Like the first sentence Shadowheart says at the door doesn't have any lips moving but then they will move when we actually start talking.

Agreed! Just wanted to put this out there if it is a EA problem and maybe it's just my weak spec'd pc cant hang. Haha My buddy said he hasn't had any problems with it on his super powerful pc

For me too. It is usually the 1st sentence a character says their lips don't move, then after that they start working correctly.

Having similar issues. Lips wont move in some portions of cutscenes but move for others. Also some of the facial expressions don't seem to animate. Had a scene where an NPC was talking, his eyes moved but the rest of his face was a stiff as a board.

Ran into this for the first time a bit ago with Gale. It was for part of his cinematic were he talks about his condition for the first time. It only happened for a few lines before it went back to normal. Haven't encountered since then yet.

This happens to me frequently. Although I am on a HDD harddrive, this game is too big for my SSD
