LariLauncher.exe Not Working

when I try to launch it, i get the following: "to run this application, you must install .NET core. would you like to download it now?"

i obviously click yes, i get 2 options: x64 and x86.

since my windows is 64bit, i tried x64 first. it was already installed, so i clicked repair. larilauncher still doesn't work.

then i downloaded x86 to be sure, installed it. still doesn't work.

then i uninstalled and reinstalled x64, still nothing.

uninstalled and reinstalled both, still no.

what do?

Having the same issue, tried reinstalling and repairing the .NET core and still no change. I also tried repairing the game files through Steam and still nothing.

Really hoping the devs can give us some more insight on this issue.

Having same issue, cant launch game, also tried downloading, repairing, restarting etc

This may be due to having your %ProgramFiles% set to other than the C: drive. I fixed this by copying my "G:\Program Files\dotnet" directory (Note your drive may be other than "G:") to "C:\Program Files\". Now the Larian launcher should work.

So how exactly did you copy it? A bit rusty on this stuff.

How does one do the thing? A little confused on that. I know I have all my steam games installed on my NVME which is my E:drive.

So what exactly do I need to do?

Just go to the drive labeled :/C and check the "Program Files" folder, if there is no "dotnet" folder in there go to other drives and look for the same thing, once found, select the folder and copy it, do back to "Program Files" in :/C and paste.

Checked, my ProgramFiles folder is in C. dotnet folder was in C. Still doesn't work. The devs need to ♥♥♥♥ off and give me the game I payed for whether or not I have 3rd party software. If they want to pay me to run extra software that is ok too.

Same issue here. My dotnet folder is located at C:/Program Files, but the laucnher doesn't see it
