I come along an altar, at which one could offer blood later, but other than getting a wound, nothing happened there. I guess it is a bug and you MUST do it in the right order.
Thnks for your help!! Guess I have to start over from a save game.
keeping it vauge as your properly read it before doing the trial ;) ask you self this - how does the game know?
If you still need help then just post here
So after having failed the quest spectacularly because the mirrored versions weren't bound by the 'no cheating by helping' condition my 'mirror' mage nukes my party.
This got me thinking - the mirrors uses the same build and gear, but how does it know what gear I would bring - I concluded that It takes a snap shot of your party sometime between giving blood and rendering in your "mirrors".
Testing that led to the ultimate cheese strategy for that test:
Strip everybody naked and put armor on your casters they are not proficient with.
The give blood and sneak in, once you've confirmed they are indeed in a state of undress.
Re-equip your party - now sneak whom ever is in the upper right of the map around and kill their mirror.
Once that one is dead, that character has passed the test and can help kill the others with out it being considered cheating - which would fail you the test.
Like I said, a very cheese strategy - but if the test insists on breaking it's own rules, I've no problem bending them a bit. Besides the Sharran creed seems to be 'take what you want by any means necessary' so I did :P
Oh and after the test be sure to hold down ALT ( or what ever key you use to highlight lootable items ) or you will miss an additional reward for completing the test.
Thnx for sharing
No one does that with the whole party.
