Wyll Romance Late Start (A.K.A. The Guides on Google are Confusing Me)

So, I didn't expect it when I booted up the game, but Wyll has definitely become my "bachelor of choice" for BG3. However, I looked up guides on how to get his romance, and most of the guides say that we should have banged during the refugee party -- meanwhile in my experience, we just had a relatively chaste kiss. That's what I felt was the most appropriate for the ~character~, and it's not as though I regret not going hard into the physical aspects straight out the gate, but it doesn't seem like anyone's documenting what happens when you, like, don't do that.

I'm nearing the end of Act 1, and there haven't been any other developments in the romance subplot, so I'm a little worried that I missed the boat there. Is that the case, or are there more possible romantic scenes beyond the first major arc?

TL;DR: How late in the game can you go deeper into a relationship with Wyll? Is there a cut-off point?

The devs did admit that the romance threshold had been accidentally lowered and they've changed it to more.. normal levels now! So no bumping, only kisses. Very cute ones, too.
