as for the under dark, i dont want to give you spoilers but theres a couple fights that you'll just sort of walk into with little chance to avoid it, and they are almost as hard as the witch.
im sorry but, if you thought the goblins were hard, the under dark will scar you for life.
However, if you can get to level 5 and gain access to Fireball I think you'll find the game gets a lot easier.
I suggest giving Gale the moderately armored feat at level 4 so that he can equip strong armor and a shield to make him die less (and maintain his concentration saving throws more often since he will get hit less often). I reccomending switching Astarion out of being a rogue into something more useful like a ranger unless you just reallly enjoy the rogue character. Both shadowheart and your fighter need to be as high AC as absolutely possible.
i think the game will get easier when you get more experience with the game and its systems. But level 5 is a big game changer as you'll get extra attack and access to 3rd level spells.
If you mean you just cleared the blighted village, then go look in the various buildings in the blighted village for cellars, basements, and secrets. There are at least two interesting fights to get through before attempting the goblin camp or the hag. I you fully clear the blighted village but still don't feel strong I would recommend trying the hag again. The things that I did that let me win: take the mask off immediately after getting through the illusory door. Sneak attack the caster in the back when fighting the hag's followers. In the final fight make sure to have your whole party over relatively close to where she becomes visible, and prespread your party. Use magic missile to instantly KO at least two illusions. Put a debuff on the hag so you know which is the real one. After her tricks are over she is very easy to finish off 4v1. Just don't let her illusions nuke you down.
