Increasing Crit Chance?
Is there anyway to increase crit chance other than playing champion fighter?

Yes, there are many items you can find that increase your chance to critically hit. Theres also the spell sniper feat which has been homebrewed by Larian to increase your crit range for magic spells (Though i think its bugged atm)

Gear that says it reduces the attack roll needed to crit is the way to increase crit chance

Grymforge lets you forge adamantine weapon (e.g. Adamantine mace) that always crit
Note: so far ingame only has enough materials to forge 2 adamantine items

Be a Half-Orc, become a Champion Fighter.

There are a few items and potions that reduce critical by 1

It's always a crit against objects, not in fights

Also found a hat that reduces the number required to hit by one ( if obscured ) that explicitly says it stacks with other such effects.
So that would be:
- 19 Champion fighter / Short sword / invisible spear
- 18 Exlir
- 17 hood

keep in mind it's still only 20% crit chance, there is a reason that crit builds aren't populare in TT, even if you can get 10% more in BGs it comes at the cost of items slots that could be better put to use.

I just reached act 3 on one playthrough and with Figther Champion I can get crits from 15-20. I think I might be missing another item that would lower it to 14, but I'm not 100% sure.

- Duellist's Prerogative: Legendary rapier from act 3 side quest sets crit chance to 19.
- Improved Critical Hit: Champion subclass passive, number needed to critical hit lowered by 1.
- The Dead Shot: Longbow from act 3 vendor, number needed to critical hit lowered by 1.
- Sarevok's Horned Helmet : act 3 medium helmet dropped from boss, number needed to critical hit lowered by 1. There are other head that lower crit number required, but they require you to be obscured.
- Elixir of Viciousness: lowers number needed to critical hit lowered by 1.

So 15-20 crit chance, but I think I remember another item from my first playthrough that increased crit chance, just not sure which one.

Another item that has really good synergy with the champion with duellist's prerogative is Bhaalist's Armour light armour chest piece. Enemies within 2m are vulnerable to piercing damage unless they are immune to it. Also +2 to initiative and 14 AC. Needless to say, a Half orc with 15-20 crit chance with x3 critical damage and x2 from vulnerability hits pretty hard. With haste and Action Surge you'd be doing 9 attacks and 1 bonus action attack with the rapier.

They only crit when hitting an object
