Just like you can't stack Mage Armor AC with any other base AC calculation.
Anyway this isn't explained in game and I don't have a 5e Players Handbook so figured this might be some important info to release.
I just told you Mage Armor will not work with Unarmored Defense. Unarmored Defense is one way of calculating base AC. Mage Armor is another way of calculating base AC. The two don't stack. Never have. You cannot have more than one source of base AC. You can only add to your AC after calculating base by things like items/armor/shields/spells.
