Three Triggers I avoided Tripping ((Spoilers Ahead))
My partner and I are doing our first playthrough.

Saved the druids > wiped out every goblin > underdark > looped back around > then Monastery.

Lae'zel's bitchiness and skullduggery let us to kill her in camp. Walking us into a gith checkpoint only to get jumped by her peers CHANGED us, and we fight much-more seriously now.

Things came to a head when it came time for the Monastery, and as we see them as Alien Invaders and just down-right-mean Klingons, all the gith needed to be wiped out, and their leader's painting defaced.

((I'm actually glad larian makes "the children" just vanish here when the fighting starts)).

We went in the back-way, making it known that while they are neutral, we were NOT; with only 4 more souls left to claim, we got to "the end" of the Monastery only to be killed by a GodWish. This is where I started playing even MORE carefully about/around Triggers.

The next IRL-day, we redid that end-fight, and kited the enemies OUT of the room. We didn't care about slinking back in there for the treasure this time. Palpatine can keep them; as we found it's NOT the killing of the last-dude that Triggers the scene.

Fast forward quite a bit. We find out that if a crow flies to the top of Moonrisetowers we get pulled into another final-battle with Kethrick Thorm. I wish Familiars couldn't trip these things.

Much-after that we get to Rivington, and go all-around the checkpoint. Near the end of our play session we get into Wyrm's rest. Knowing were gonna stop-here for the night, I keep going (run Forest!).

BigMetalMan has a dandy's voice and invites the whole party to a PARTY! No, no. There is just NO way I am:

1] Getting seen (I'm a Rogue), and don't want the Big Bad to know I'm here.

2] I don't have ANY intention of going to his "party" and if I did would be VERY tempted to use this runepowder bomb on the procession, best if I stay away.

But-if you've run this gauntlet, then you know that: right after that, at the end of the bridge is a gloating Mizzora.

I get so tired of people.

We ended the session by "getting in" to the lower-ward and having mr ooze thank us for smuggling him through. But save-scummed to just-before I decided to just RUN through the turnstile.

. . .

The next IRL-day we load it up, and I get to REALLY looking. Knowing Larian always gives us at least 4 ways to skin the Tressym, I had already had my suspicions, and today something about the rock-facia of the Keep caught my eye.

There it is! vines along the left side. I had this Corvid amulet that, while the feature of turning into a dire-raven doesn't seem to want to work (guess it's missing one of it's magic stones ;P ) the added Jump and Featherfall let me fall nearly 12 stories and. . . LIVE!

I coiled up and around the thing, inside but not touching anything, sneaking past, and then invisibility potioning past, the Metal Menaces.

I had to throw myself off the back side, and landed on a lip just above the drawbridge. It's got to what feels like a bugged/fake door and 1 red barrel.

It took FOREVER to find a Jump-vector that would allow me to get down; the krennelations would just NOT let me find a path.

But I found one, that let me hit the farthest-most corner of the drawbridge, just out of reach of the Machines' sight-cones, and just-opposite of Mizzora.

In turn-based, and invisible, she doesn't get to gloat.

Having not gone THROUGH the turn-style at the disney-castle, I also don't get invited to "the party".

I dunno if this is going to be GOOD or BAD for my playthrough. If you have thoughts I'm willing to be spoiled.

By not talking to necro-palpatine in the bottom of the Monastery, I never have to go IN the "orb" and betray my Guardian either (though I do NOT trust them).

All-this is to say, there ARE some medium-sized story-things that if you want, you can avoid triggering and go about your merry, murderous, way.

Note, you are expected to go to the coronation party. For once Larian did not anticipiate that players might want to avoid it, and it can bug out quest progression if skipped.
