An extremely powerful Build for Honor mode.

As a long time DND player I just recently tried a new build that I've taken to Honor mode with and let me just say. This works very well. Oathbreaker/College of Swords. This combo is incredibly strong due to Charisma Scaling. As a Paladin one of the stronger classes in 5E on its own. Now take this already powerful class into Oathbreaker early on for all those big damage perks. Get Oathbreaker to level 5 then take 3 levels into Bard. More spells, charisma scaling. College of Swords for you guessed it all those sweet sweet flourish abilities where you will mostly use Defensive. Wear Heavy Armor, 1 handed weapon, shield, Cast shield of Faith on yourself. Take War caster Feat. Add those defensive flourishes. After your 3rd level into bard go back to Pally all the way to 7 where you get the Aura of hate that adds your CHA modifier to your weapons. Be sure to take the defense fighting style with Paly, and the dualing style with bard. Big hits, big damage buff, high AC. You become a walking nightmare to most enemies by the end of act 2.
