Fleeing combat then returning?

What happens if you do this? My conversation went bad with Nettie but I don't want to kill her. Can I just run away and come back with Halsin? Will she still attack me?

Depends. If you left while she was "Temporarily Hostile", you'll be fine, otherwise she'll ttack on sight.

I think shes mad forever but you can probably bypass her from the cave/gas room back door to get your final loot if you really, really don't want to kill her. You only need to go in once more, to get the end of rescue loot, and that isn't even good enough to spend a lot of time worrying over.
If shes mad her dot is red on the mini map.
