Stupid question- Gnarled Door

Hi all,
I am just missing something here. In Ethel's teahouse, my characters have realized that the Gnarled Door is an illusion, but when I mouse over it I am just getting the lock symbol- it doesn't seem like I can walk through it. What am I doing wrong please?

The handling there is a tad fiddly - basically you need to move the camera that you can click on the floor beyond that door. That allows you to pass.
