Found the Dopplegangers in the Cave before doing the Circus in Act 3

I just got the Dribbles the Clown quest line -- and realized that I found the cave with the dopplegangers and took them out before going to the circus -- and I realized the torso should be with them down in the cave but I never did get it and I can't find it now -- did I goof by doing things backwards? :( Is there somewhere I can find the torso since I have no idea how to find it now. Any help is appreciated!

Should be no issue going back there to get it.

I think most of the body parts are not items lying on the ground like the hand you find at the circus itself, but are in containers. Mostly corpses.

So go back down to the cave, there should be a circle of dead people. Loot them until you find the torso.

I'll go back down and look again- I've already looted most of them pretty sure - but maybe I missed one. Hopefully that's all it is! Fingers crossed!!

Just checked the quest, apparently the torso is on one of the Doppelgangers.

So unless you happened to push that particular enemy to a void, it definitely should be there.

I went back down after getting the quest to find him and it's not on any of the 3 of them that were down there. I'm going to go back down and check again. Maybe I missed something. I know I didn't yeet any of them off, so it should be there. I keep double checking my inventory and what everyone is carrying too - it's not there. I'm sure I'll find it - hopefully!

I vaguely recall it being a dead guy with a spear in his chest, but should be in that area.

Also, are you sure you didn't just send it to the camp chest? Check if your quest has updated to the fact that you have found it.

I just went back down and it's not on any of their bodies. And I've checked the camp chest - it's not there either. And it's not checked off on the quest list. I went and did it backwards and I mean I guess I could go back and just go to a past save before I Went and killed the dopplegangers and o it in the correct order. I didn't mean to find the cave with them before going to the circus - I went around town instead of through it and went down to the beach and found the cave before going back to town to find the circus. haha! Can't do things the easy way.

Seems odd.

I didn't even know you had to have the quest before you can find the body parts.

But it's not too bad if you have an earlier save.

Now to just figure out which previous save it is -- it's gonna be going back awhile but at least I know now that it's better to wait to do things in order. At least it seems that's important here? xD
