There are I think two readable things near the entrances that give you the next clue in the quest.
But you don't have to save the Gondians if you don't want. If you want to just plant the runepower bomb, you gotta fight your way through that room and enter the room where you can plant the runepowder bomb.
What happens if I blow up the foundry without saving the hostages in Iron Throne? Also, will Gortash know it was me and get mad?
Not sure about Gortash.
But mind you, Wyll's companion quest requires visiting the Iron Throne, unless it's different when siding with Gortash.
I see. I never used him. I've been using Gale, Shadowheart and Astarion since the beginning and only switched once when it was required for another companion.
Some of the quests in this game feel weird. For instance, I just did the whole Wyrmway and not because of a quest, but I found it by accident while exploring. The boss there is somewhat important to the plot, so I'm wondering if there's a quest associated with that location.
If so, yeah that's the final part of Wyll's companion quest.
Not really as relevant to the plot as one would think.
Yeah. Now I remember that he started talking about dragons all of a sudden at the end of Act 2 when the huge exposition dump happens.
