Location of Kar'niss's moon lantern betraying him

I wanted to make the different choice and sided with the Harpers in their attack after they ambushed the Absolute Convoy (that I was a part of). After the battle, one of the harpers stuffed the moon lantern inside his back pocket and i was not able to find it on him upon reaching Last Light Inn.

Is there some place where the harpers place the moon lantern after they retrieve it from Kar'niss, or is it just evaporated from existance? I looked almost everywhere and inside the pockets of the harpers present in the battle.

I found one on Isobel but I'm not sure if it was the one we retrieved from Kar'niss or its her own moonlantern.
