Adding Mods through gameplay?

Hi there,

Looking for some modding help as I have never modded a game before.

How do you add mods when I am already half way through the game? I am wanting to add things like Bags, Bags, Bags and other quality of life mods, but after using Nexus mods manager, it crashed my game giving me:
"Failed to load the main menu from the current game mod blah blah get in touch blah"
So I am having to reinstall and hope steam cloud has me covered :D.

tried searching on here and google but cant find anything that answers the question.

Hi:). Did do the manual installation? Just looked and read the link on their page. Fairly detailed. I’m viewing on my phone currently; is there a automatic option?

It is no problem I think .... I use the BG3 ModManager AFTER a little bit drama with Vortex.
Works great. I already installed a few Mod in the middle of the game. BagsBagsBags is GREAT!

But I'm looking to work very "save" with the mods. I made a backup of my savegames AND a lot of files. And I alway delete manualy the modsettings-file and create a new one with the BG3 ModManager.

If you need help, please tell me.
