HELP please: Don't get "Save Rolan" quest (Act2)

Hello, (SPOILER)

I was in the Inn "Last Light" and talked really twice to everybody. Roland was drunk and angry. Than Marcus came and a demon have taken Mol with him. Now Rolan is gone and the Tiefling children don't talk to me about him ... that ge is gone. Cause they tell me all the time: Save Mol, save Mol.
I can't find him nowhere .... not at the spot near the Moonrise tower ... Look here: https://www.gamepur.com/guides/baldurs-gate-3-how-to-find-rolan-in-the-shadows-in-bg3

I have NOT taken Moonlight until now. I wanted to free the prisoner first.

Where is he .. how can I get the quest if the cildren are talking only about Mol?

Has the quest about him updated to inform you he died?
It's possible he dies before you get to him as there are enemies nearby and if you muck about nearby without coming to his aid they defeat him.

Rolan also left a message for his siblings at the inn, did you listen to it?
Might be a quest step trigger.

Oh, and don't worry about Mol until Act 3

I don't worry about Mol, but CAUSe of Mol the children don't give me the quest. I was in Moonrise Town but more on the "Healing House" corner ... I will go and look for the message, hope I find it.

The kids don't give a fig about Rolan but intend to go after Mol themselves which you can talk them out of. They do have a 'bark' about Rolan as well but that's just a subtle "Hey look at this important clue thingy here" shoutout, not a dialogue.

I got him ... I saved him and all was ok. He is now save and pi ssed back in the Inn.

BUT: I never got a quest for this ....

I only got the quest from a letter he left on the bar :P

I got a n information about him from an machine on the bar, but not a quest .... I have no entry in my journal about him. It is nothing "dramatic" .... I just observe.

I'm in Grymforge on my current run through so will be a bit before I can check this, but if memory serves saving Rolan isn't so much a seperate quest as a note in the ongoing one to save the prisoners or Tieflings in general.
