Shadowfell Entrance

is there something i am missing because it saids I need to gather my party before I enter but I have a full party. Ver confused would love some help!

Believe that message is just a check to make sure you are ready to continue there cause once you enter the Shadowfell some quests can not be completed anymore.

Make sure you have visited Moonrise Tower and completed the quests in the town and surrounding areas, including Last Light Inn, before entering. If you are following a 'good' path Shadowfell basically leads to an assault on Moonrise Towers, and many quests need to be completed or partially completed before the assault's completion or they will not be able to be completed.

So I'm confused here a bit as well.

Can I go to Moonrise Tower i.e. to free prisoners BEFORE I do Shadowfell and start the "Assautl on Moonrise Towers"?

Lost some quests because I had the impression I need to do Shadowfell before Moonrise :-(

You are going to want to yes. One of the first things you want to do in the shadowfell is free the prisoners because some quests change the landscape. I would assault moonrise towers last, which sounds counter-intuitive. Basically sneak down, (NOT through the main entrance, go in through the side), free the people then go about the Shadowfell til you are ready to assault it.

If you dont have the assault moonrise quest then it may be possible to enter through the front doors but personally I had to do the back because I already had them ready to attack

Also, just to make sure, check all of your party are at the entrance. So make sure no one lagged behind or got stuck in another loading zone or something

So I went back to a save before entereing Shadowfell to visit Moonrise Towers. Glad I did. So much content there. Even had to bring Astarion into the team since he was explicitly asked for by someone in the tower.
