That will make it tougher fight. I hope you befriended the Gnolls then.
If not it may be a tough fight. Of course the "Git gud" argument can be applied but that's a cheap shot. Since you don't want to redo a bit of the chapter, you can try lowering the difficulty for that fight maybe, it's too late to litter the place with explosives.
Also the tower garrison is spread they won't come at you all at once.
The only important thing - immideately kill Spying Eyes as soon as they appear in enemy list. Because if you don't they will summon reinforcements for enemy each turn.
