Now, I believe people are right about the feat. If you select the one that gives you Warlock spells and pick find familiar, its as if you were a warlock casting it if that makes sense. That can be done for any class though
Get Shovel, have a spell caster level, cast the scroll (dont scribe it) talk to him and he will teach you to summon him, it becomes an "common" ability and you can respec out of spellcaster and still summon him, like you can summon the dog.
