Resisted Mindflayer tadpole and managed to kill it (question)

So basically in act 1 i managed to resist the pull of the mind flayer tadpole from Edowin i then managed to smack it one with my greatsword subsequently killing it cold dead.

I have now picked up its dead body and i'm kinda just carrying it around with me, is there any point in keeping it other than maybe for roleplay purposes as a kind of trophy? Might try and do it with all of them tbf if possible but it'd be cool if theres something i can do with it other than smoosh it into my frontal cortex (which obviously i can't do because it's a bit to dead to be doing any parasiting).

i have not picked up any corpses but you can throw them at enemies.

Ah neat, i think i kinda answered my own question tbf. I really like the idea of trying to collect them as trophies tbf.
