The adamantine forge

So here at the forge I can make weapons and armor...except I was only able to make one weapon, then I can't get the lava to flow any more. I recall being able to make at least 2 items. I forget how much mithril can actually be found, but I found 2 in this playthough so far, but I can't use it. Any idea why? Do I need to cast a grease spell?

I didn't have any issues. When I made my second item, I made sure to repeat the entire process, step by step. Be sure to eject the mould first though.

I did just that. Even rose the elevator back up to hammer it back down. Oddly enough the hammer did not make it go down. The only way to descend the elevator was to jump down or fly down and press the button again. Still, the lava refused to flow a second time.
