You have serious problems if that is your real situation.
Do you have an explaination why you have not enough free space?
I am not a very tech savvy person, but my C drive always fluctuates between 5 gb free to a couple hundred megabytes without my input. I rarely play PC games so I don't know much about what's possible to change save locations, etc. The only thing I could maybe delete is the hiberfil.sys since it's the only thing that uses multiple gigabytes of storage. From what I understand, that just means my PC could no longer hibernate.
If I did buy another kind of drive to replace my OS (:C), I wouldn't know how to hook it up to my PC without following some step-by-step guide. But if that's what it'll take, fair enough lol. I've procrastinated on doing something about it since Baldur's Gate is the first PC game I've played in years so I never tried to mess with my system storage for fear of breaking something. Just wanted to ignore it lol.
If you like I could try giving you some easy to use pointers. It just will not do without your help, unless via remote access. I leave the information here for you as offer, if you want to have me or someone else take a look

https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/wiztree-portable <--- this freeware helps to get an easy to use visualisation what is taking space and can help to identify leftover files
it is also very valuable for someone like you, who is not tech-savvy, to give AVG Tuneup - free trial version - a try. It is free and easy to understand and apply to cleanup old unneeded files.
As I wrote before, I leave these information for you as an offer. Please do not feel pushed to use them if you feel uncomfortable with such.
A simpler solution would be to use something like CCleaner and set it to automatically clear junk and temporary files on a schedule so that you don't get the build up. You can also disable Windows system restore and delete the backups if they're on which should free up lots of space.

Also check your Downloads folder for anything you don't need anymore.

In this case you could also buy an ssd for a burger and connect 2 cables in your pc. There is no risk, it's no rocket sience. Fear is is the only enemy.
While giving the tip to disable Restore Points is a very stupid idea in this regards. :)
A pity to see how a condescending attitude of yours renders a good tip of yours practically worthless. Maybe you want to take a step back and reconsider?
Edit: Forgot to mention I disabled steam cloud saving by going into the properties by right clicking the game in my library and I got far fewer save errors since then.
