[Spoilers] Ketheric/Apostleboss fight
Jesus anyone know how I can beat this fight? I've gotten Nightsong up from the start and postilion my characters best I can before the fight starts. Kill the mind flayer quickly so he doesn't use dominate.

My issue comes down to Nightsong getting so low a single attack kills her and she keeps coming back at 1hp to die again. While also having Ketheric spamming his damn incubate dead. I can't melee him cause he can kill everyone in a single turn no matter their HP. By the time he dies and phase 2 starts I am down one character and the rest barely holding on with healing spells.

Then the apostle comes and you can't melee it unless you want to stay alive for more than one hit. Im currently level 7, the fight down to the boss room wasn't that hard at all but this fight is a HUGE jump in difficulty. Worse I can't go to camp and switch out characters or try to level up or anything.

Without loading an old save and having to redo everything in the colony Idk how to beat this fight does anyone have tips? My party is Me (druid) ShadowHeart, Astarion, and Lae'zel

It's a hard fight if you don't have a high charisma char to try and get him to kill himself.

Get to Nightsong with misty step. You need to position a offensive spell caster on high ground (where nightsong is) I used a Draconic fire Sorcerer to pummel him with scorching ray.

Use a cleric to keep all the undead busy and mass heal. You need a fighter or barbarian to keep his aggro on them (make sure their AC is above 20 - so use shields or items which buff AC.

You last guy can be another melee guy or warlock to counterspell.

Ooooooorrrr....

Turn difficulty down to Story.

Wait that was an option? I know it was for the big demon guy with the panther.

As for getting to Nightsong I used an invisibility potion and made it to her before the fight started. Letting her go started the battle. You can also throw a potion at her to heal her when you do this if you don't have any healing spells on that character.

Yeah with Kethric you have to push for his redemption in your first fight with him... in the second he will jump to his death and be reborn as that monstrosity.

Had to change difficulty, cause I couldn't beat with without switching party members and getting more supplies. I dislike boss battles right after boss battle in games so much.

Right before you use the neural apparatus to take the lift down to the boss battle door there is a restoration thingie. Click that to gain all the benefits of a long rest!

I had to save scum a lot to get it to work. I had Astarion up on a ledge invisible and used my turn to throw fire at the apostle while it focused on my druid in owlbear form. Got lucky with dmg rolls to barely kill it.

I just has Karlach throw enemies at other enemies until they died... lol
Focus on freeing Nightsong first and killing the mindflayer first then Ketheric. ignore everything else. During 2nd phase hit the boss hard and fast.

Before intiating battle, switch to turn base mode and have astarion do a sneak range attack. This will make some if not all the enemy surprise, giving you one free turn with your party members.

level 7 is quite low, if your exp bar close to leveling up, kill every 4 leg brain walkers around. They gave about 140exp per kill.
i dont remember exactly how i did this. it wasnt that hard tbh. i thought the balthazzar fight was impossible though so if you beat that i dont know how you're struggling with this one.

Basically you need to free the nightsong. So you run up to her and free her as quickly as possible. Easy. 2 or 3 turns and shes free, until then you can clean up the adds with your party.

after that i just surrounded him and kept spamming mass healing word as a bonus action. Yeah he smacks your entire team, but, whatever. I cast wall of fire and cloud of daggers on him because he can't move so all he could do is sit there and take damage every turn. any spell that does damage over time is great since he cant escape. If you know you're going to get AOE'd anyway you could split your team up I guess but you want them in range for your healing spells.

also check his resistances because theres a lot of bosses in this game who will gain vulnerability to a damage type seemingly out of no where, so always make sure you're paying attention to resistances.

Spells that do damage even on a save are great here.
I used spirit guardians and cloak of daggers and might have used moonbeam.
There are some skellies here so using a hammer on your tank is great.
I used invisibility to free the nightsong then dash and misty step. Got to her pretty fast without any1 targeting me.

For some reason his damage in meele didnt feel tankable. So have to rely on some resses and ranged damage.
Maybe a shiftshaping druid could manage to tank a few rounds

I used shadowheart. Me bard , karlach and laezel i think

Guys, remember to open your hoard once in a while. It dook me 2 party wipes before i realized "Hold on i have an invis potion this whole time?". So i used that on my main char (Ranger) and immediately rushed to nightsong to free her, only took 2 turns. The fight for me is pretty easy since i have Wyll's rapier that lets him summon a cambion and i specced Jaheira to Fungal druid to have another zombie summon so i have a lot of meatshields. Balthazar's fight is pretty easy for me since i managed to take him down on turn 1 with Undeadslayer Arrows. After that, just release the AoE spells and scrolls. Got lucky with Karlach's Wild Magic rage to get the AoE slow tho. I combined that with Shadowheart's AoE DoT spell, my ranger is jumped on the nearest platform shooting AoE arrows.
