Report a translation problem
- Open your Steam Library
- Right click the game's title and select Properties....
- From the Installed Files tab select Backup game files
- Click Browse... to browse to the folder where you wish to create the backup files
- Click Create Backup to begin the backup process.
- Once complete, choose Open folder to move or burn copies of the backup files
Important:We recommend testing the backup discs after their creation to ensure the integrity of the files for future reinstallation.
- Install Steam and log in to the correct Steam account (see Installing Steam for further instructions)
- Launch Steam
- Click on Steam in the upper left corner of the Steam application
- Select Restore Game Backup...
- Browse to the location of the game's backup files
- Continue through the Steam windows to install the necessary games.
Important:If the path to your Steam installation contains special characters, such as C:\Steam安装路径\Steam, the restore process may not complete successfully. If this issue occurs, you may need to re-install Steam to a location without special characters, such as C:\Steam.
