Which is best class to use for a summoner type build ?

i was wondering which class/sub class would be best to pick if i wanted to with a summoner build.

i remember the BG games having scroll of summoning lv 1-2-3,
and pretty sure i remember playing one of the D&D style games that allowed
druids to summon woodland animals and shapeshift
rangers i think were able to summon wolves?
mages had familiars.

liked divinity's summoner classes,
so is there any chance to have a summoner class (will there be one added in future updates?) or which class should i go which that ties me closest to how a summoner would work?

Cos anyone can use scrolls to summon whatever any class can summon... you can get a tiny army right now wihtout mods just a matter of finding the items you need.



despite all that wizard ranger warlock are all good choices right now
full game would probably be all casters or anyone if they dont fix the scolls..

aww thats a shame,,, o well
ill just stick to playing my chars from a role playing standpoint :),
i never really used magical items on a "brutish" fighter anyways XD
