Refresh at well in bog possible bug

I've been going to the well in the putrid bog to refresh my party and give them all temporary hp boost before a tough fight as I'm sure everyone else has been doing. Now only two of my party members get the hp bonus after visiting the well. The other two get nothing. They aren't under any kind of effect that would prevent them from this. Is this a bug? Has anyone else run into this problem?
