Report a translation problem
It would work even without narrator or anyone really saying anything in a voiced line. Just let it change to other companions in the dialogue like you said.
This problem though is exaggerated in coop because the other human player can't really participate in the dialogue, their companions and the character they are playing as, can't offer any scripted lines in the dialogue that WOULD OTHERWISE BE SAID in the singleplayer in the same setup compared to coop, which is baffling.
If the game continues to be very popular and succesful, perhaps they will consider this in their -next- game. I doubt they would fix coop system with the dialogues and non-existant bonuses in the dialogue rolls (can't use bonuses from the other human player party, for example shadowharts guidance can't be selected in the bonus menu if she is not in your direct "party", but in other player party).
Nevertheless we need to bring the issues to light and make sure we are heard if at the very least to be considered to be fixed "in the next game" if it's not gonna happen in this one.
I have a similar post in the suggestions and feedback steam forums.
The more people talking constructively about this, the better. People who only play the game once through coop won't necessarily know about the problems in relative to how it works in singleplayer (it works better in singleplayer, all companions at least offer their scripted remarks in the dialogue because they are all in your "party"). Those who play singleplayer won't even know the problems exist at all.
